April 30, 2022, Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville: At the spring meeting of the Tennessee Cave Survey, Mike joined Chuck Sutherland for a presentation entitled Blue Goo and Black Oil: Small pools of strange life in Tennessee Caves, which chronicled an unusual biological discovery within a central Tennessee cave.
Dec. 10, 2021, 6 p.m. Explorers Club St. Louis Chapter: A Window on Dark Life. At this Zoom talk, Mike shared recent biological discoveries in a Tennessee Cave System, along with similar new finds in nearby caves.
May 15, 2021, Caver’s Paradise, Sewanee, Tennessee: Presentation to the Dogwood City Grotto of the NSS on Hidden Nature, the joys of TAG, and scientific discoveries at Secret Squirrel cave.
